Evident VS200
Details for Evident VS200 Microscope System
The Evident SLIDEVIEW VS200 is a research-grade slide scanner built for high-resolution quantitative analysis, whole-slide imaging, and complex multiplexing. It is designed to integrate with existing high-NA objectives and Kromnigon SpectraSplit® 7 filters to collect multiplexed data.
Core System Features
- Advanced Optics: Designed for integration with Evident’s X Line high-performance objectives, your 10x, 20x, 40x, and 60x lenses provide exceptional flatness, chromatic aberration correction, and high numerical apertures (NA) across the entire field of view.
- Automated & Unattended Scanning: Features robotics that can hold and automatically load/unload up to 210 standard slides in 35 trays, allowing for high-throughput batch and set-up-and-leave scanning.
- Multi-Modal Imaging: The system supports multiple observation methods, including 7 color fluorescence, color brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast, and polarization, in a single system.
- True AI Deep Learning: The acquisition software includes TruAI technology for morphology-based sample detection, auto-focusing, and tissue segmentation, resulting in faster scanning and reduced stitching artifacts.
- Motorized Condenser: Features an automated universal condenser that dynamically adjusts to match the optimal settings for the 10x, 20x, 40x, or 60x objectives for optimized contrast and resolution.
Kromnigon SpectraSplit® 7 Filters: Custom-designed to maximize multiplexing capabilities.
- No Spectral Unmixing Required: The filters are optimized to separate up to 7 distinct fluorescent channels directly through the optics. This allows you to image multi-stained tissue sections without the need for post-processing computational unmixing.
- Exceptional Contrast: The filters yield high signal-to-noise ratios with less than 0.5% spillover between channels, preventing bleed-through and ensuring crisp images even with intense TSA-based multiplexing.
- Optimized for Spatial Biology: The system is suited to handle complex multiplex panels (such as Ultivue or Opal dye sets) when combined with the VS200's automated fluorescence illuminators.
